The current pandemic has reinforced our need to become more resilient to essential rider needs by providing the most current information that is available. In September 2021, Pierce Transit moved away from producing Routes and Schedules books, and transitioned to digital resources. Visit our Holiday Service page for more information. For example, Labor Day falls on Monday September 4, but Pierce Transit buses will be following Sunday schedules that day, and the Customer Service Center (Bus Shop) will be closed. Pierce Transit modifies some service to more closely match ridership levels on holidays and days around those holidays. Route 497: Weekday times are changed to better align with Sounder S-Line times. Route 101: Seasonal service ends on August 31. Way shift to Tacoma Ave S., and more stops are served on S. Route 57: On all days, this route is partially re-routed in the Hilltop district. Route 41: On Weekdays, times were adjusted on some trips traveling from Tacoma Mall Transit Center to Commerce Street Station.
